About me

Hello, I'm Kath and thanks so much for stopping by to visit my store, The Embroidery Burrow (TEB). 

I was born in the UK, raised as a Yorkshire lass, hairdresser by trade and I emigrated to Melbourne in 2007.  My Partner and I are blessed to have a busy home which consists of two small toddlers and two teenagers. Of course, no home is complete without a fur baby and ours is a Frenchie called Napoleon. 

My great granny is the lady who helped me find my love and passion for embroidery and all things crafty.  From a small age, I can remember us sitting together embroidering and chatting away. Fast forward some 30 years and last year I took the plunge and at the start of 2023 I purchased an embroidery machine.     

In October 2023, The Embroidery Burrow was born.
